Primary electrical insulation for all wire and cable splices rated up to 600 volts and 105°C (220°F). Also used for primary electrical insulation for 600 volt bus applications, and protective jacketing for low and high voltage bus, as well as high voltage cable splices and repairs. It is suitable for harnessing wires and cables.

This electrical tape is made of Poly vinyl chloride (PVC) in black color with a thickness of 7 mil, width of 3/4 inch, and length of 66 feet per roll (10 rolls in total). The inner core size is 1.5 inches and it has an elongation of 240% minimum. The temperature rating ranges from -18°C (0°F) for handling to 105°C (220°F) for continuous operation.

The adhesive properties of this tape are as follows: Adhesion to Steel is 28 oz./in. at 22°C (72°F) and 60 oz./in. at -18°C (0°F), while adhesion to Backing is 25 oz./in. at 22°C (72°F) and 60 oz./in. at -18°C (0°F). It has a breaking strength of 15lbs./in. at 22°C (72°F) with an ultimate elongation of 250% at 22°C (72°F) and 100% at -18°C (0°F).

Electrical properties include a voltage rating of 600V and a dielectric strength of 8000V under standard conditions. It can withstand high humidity conditions up to 90% of the standard dielectric strength.
